A place to scrap your reality while escaping your reality

We do not publish the address on this site for the privacy and security of our guests.
The Cozy Crop House is located in Lititz, PA, a quaint but cool small town in Lancaster County. (It has been voted "America's Coolest Small Town") and is about five miles north of the city of Lancaster. If you will be visiting the Cozy Crop House, we will provide you with directions.
Fun fact: the town name is pronounced LIT-its - not that other way we've heard on the news!
Information about Lititz can be found here.
We can show the property most weekdays, by appointment. We are not able to give tours on weekends when the house is being used by guests.
A hosted weekend is what we call our “Cozy Crop.” We provide meals (do all the prep and cleanup for you), have staff on site to assist as needed with tools & supplies, and arrange for classes and/or massages as requested. Our Cozy Crops allow you to make new scrapbooking friends as these are mixed group crops. Participants register on an individual basis.
If you have 10 or more in your group, you can request an exclusive Cozy Crop. Participants still register on an individual basis, but we do not invite other groups to exclusive Cozy Crops.
An unhosted weekend is when the house is rented by a group for exclusive use. Food is supplied and prepared by the group. Paper goods such as paper towels and toilet paper are brought to the house by the guests and cleanup is the responsibility of the group, as is typical of any vacation rental property. (As it is difficult to maintain sharp knives in a rental property, we also suggest groups bring knives with them. All other cutlery and cooking utensils are provided.)
Reservations cancelled more than 3 months prior to your reserved dates will permit a one-time transfer to a re-booked weekend. Cancellations less than three months prior will forfeit your deposit; cancellations less than one month prior will forfeit your deposit and you are responsible for the remaining balance.
Please know that we understand that things happen, and we do our best to accommodate guests who need to cancel or change their reservation. During the height of COVID, we, like many businesses, relaxed our cancellation policy. As of February 2022, we will no longer be able to offer exceptions. We hope that you can understand that our mission is to provide a place where women can come, meet new friends, and build lasting bonds, all while relaxing and creating. We aim to do this while keeping the cost to our guests as low as possible; however, we have to keep the lights on in order to fulfill our mission. We're not enforcing this policy to penalize you for your change in plans; we're doing it so that the house will still be here when you are able to return.
You are welcome to find an alternate to fill your place if your plans change. Your deposit will be transferred to your replacement. We must be notified of the change and must have your replacement’s signed rental agreement, or registration form, whichever one was asked of you.

We limit the number of guests to 16, whether or not they sleep at the Cozy Crop House. Though there are additional tables and spaces for meals and classes, we have found that the house is not suited for more than 16 croppers and all their creativity and supplies.
Our tool area, organized by the Totally Tiffany Company, includes a variety of equipment you may wish to use to make your pages. There are manual die cutting machines along with a vast collection of dies, stamps, stencils, idea books, punches, paper trimmers, embossing heat tool, and more. Our goal is to have the heavy stuff on-hand, so you don't have to worry about packing it and bringing it with you. (We do recommend that you bring your own cutting plates for the manual die cutting machines.)
Yes, there is a computer station with Wifi and a printer, which we try to maintain in operation for our guests’ use, though due to circumstances beyond our control.
Besides the refrigerator and oven/range, we provide a microwave, Crockpot, toaster, coffeemaker as well as a Keurig machine and tea kettle. There is a water cooler which dispenses hot and cold water located in the crop room.
Food preparation implements, such as pans, casseroles, bowls, & silverware are also provided.
Groups renting the house for their own events are expected to bring all other food supplies, including coffee; tea; sugar & creamer; paper plates, towels & napkins; kitchen trash bags; dish soap; and food wrap. We also recommend you bring a sharp knife as keeping knives sharp in a rental property can be difficult.
We offer a variety of unique dies, specialty die cuts, which can be custom-made and personalized to your specific request, scrapbook papers, embellishments, adhesives, inks, mixed media supplies, and more.
We would describe ourselves as a retreat house with a retail store on site. The retail store is available on the weekends to our guests. Additionally, it is open to the public on Wednesday and Thursday from 11AM to 5PM. We also offer classes, assistance, album imprinting, and scrapbook-for-others services. We have been described as “Scrapbooking Enablers.” We kinda like that!
Our location puts us within 25 to 35 minutes of multiple independent scrapbooking stores. A list will be made available to you in your welcome letter.
We are also close to Michael's and Hobby Lobby.
