Scrapbooking was her therapy, a way to hold on to joy, process grief, and honor the moments that make up a life. What started as quiet hours with photos and paper soon grew into something bigger.

One weekend, Kate invited thirteen women to a friend’s bed and breakfast to create side by side. They didn’t just make albums—they made connections. By Sunday, strangers had become sisters, and Kate knew she had stumbled upon something extraordinary.

In 2006, she opened the doors of Cozy Crop House in Lititz, PA. From the beginning, it was never just about scrapbooking—it was about sanctuary. A place where women who spend their lives caring for others could finally be cared for themselves.

Through seasons of joy and personal loss, Cozy Crop House became Kate’s anchor—a place where creativity, laughter, and community restored her spirit. And with each retreat, she discovered the same magic happening for her guests.

Kate is more than a founder. She is the hostess who greets you by name, the scrapbooker who delights in your stories, and the woman who knows what it means to need a place to refill your cup.

And today, her vision continues to shine—fueling the Cozy Crop House and helping women move forward with a smile, one scrapbook, one memory, one heart at a time.
